His connection to yoga began by avidly studying Eastern philosophies. Arriving in New York, he began an intense physical practice at the renowned school Jivamukti, and three years later in Miami got its first certification to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa method. From then on study courses and classes with internationally renowned faculty throughout the United States. Although constantly learning from many teachers, he felt that "something was missing." Almost everywhere he went, the emphasis was on "how to do the pose", and the rest of yoga seemed to be a tiny condiment.
But in the Viniyoga tradition he eventually found what he wanted: a style of yoga that recognized that each person is different and therefore should be suited to your needs and interests, and not be limited to the physical. He obtained a certification of 500 hours with the renowned Master Viniyoga Gary Kraftsow, with whom he continued his studies in the yoga therapy program. Michael also uses in its Neuro-psychology, with studies in the Department of Complementary Medicine at the University of Miami. |
Michael graduated as a Manual Therapist in the Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, specializing in Shiatsu, or Japanese massage, and obtained its license in the State of Florida. Looking to education that would allow more than "a good massage, he studied Craniosacral Therapy in the Upledger Institute. Fascinated with the potential of manual therapy, osteopathy, decided to expand their knowledge in workshops, meetings with other therapists, and deepening the management of myofascial tissue. Thanks to his training in a wide variety of modalities, Michael has a "toolbox"which he uses in accordance with the needs and even personalities and preferences of each client.
Thus, he uses the same principles of Viniyoga, the methodology change dramatically depending on each case. In cases of chronic, Michael often prescribe certain movements or positions of yoga to help people achieve independence and complete resolution of their pain. |

"It was a great discovery to know Michael and his absolute devotion yoga instructor. The classes are dynamic and adapt to the needs of their audience. It is difficult to mention one aspect as well, because the whole represent the entire experience: music, intent, the quality of expression, the harmony of breath, charisma to teach ... without skimping on sense of humor! "If there is such thing as the Angel of massage, this is Michael. I recently had the pleasure of receiving a therapeutic massage and it was really unlike any massage I've ever done before ... Your generosity, humor, and genuine love their work and their clients radiate through his healing touch. You must have the experience to understand. "
- Elizabeth Rindone, Sales Representative "I have received massage for over 15 years, and although some are very mild or very strong, my experience almost always pleasant. I'm very lucky to have met Michael, who is the best massage therapist I have found. His way of knowing the exact pressure is stunning. It takes time to know the person on the massage table, and how you can benefit, because he does not think a body, but a whole person who wants to help heal. My body feels much better because of my massages with him and my massage experience is far greater than just nice." Judi Witkin, Permits Consultant
